Privacy policy

Hëlth doesn't collect any data. I can't see your Health data, and neither can anyone else, because the app never sends it anywhere. It goes from one of your iPhones to the other, by AirDrop, when you send it.
Hëlth is an iPhone app made by Nikita Shimkus ("I" and "me" below). This policy covers the app and this website.
What the app does with your Health data
Hëlth uses Apple's HealthKit, and only with the permission you give it on Apple's Health permission screen. You can change that permission at any time in the Health app (tap your picture, then Apps, then Hëlth).
- Send reads the Health data on that iPhone and writes it into one file on that iPhone.
- Receive reads that file, or the export.zip the Health app makes, and writes the records into Health on that iPhone. It also reads the Health data already there, only to skip records that are already present.
- Remove what Hëlth added deletes the records Hëlth wrote on that iPhone, and nothing else.
All of this happens on your iPhones. Hëlth has no servers and no internet code, and it doesn't connect to the internet. The links to this website open in Safari.
Hëlth doesn't use your Health data for advertising or anything other than copying it, doesn't sell or share it, and doesn't store it in iCloud.
The file
The file Send makes holds your Health data. It isn't protected by a password, so treat it like the Health data it is.
- It goes only where you send it. AirDrop sends it encrypted, straight to the other iPhone. If you choose something else in the share sheet, such as Mail or a cloud drive, that service's own privacy policy applies to the copy you send there.
- Hëlth keeps its own copy in its storage on the iPhone, so you can send it again or carry on with an interrupted copy. That storage is kept out of iCloud and computer backups. The copy is replaced when you make or open another file, and deleted when you delete Hëlth.
- If you open the Health app's export.zip from the Files app, it stays in Files until you delete it there.
What isn't collected
- No account and no sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking, and no third-party code in the app.
- No crash reporting service. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send me crash reports for Hëlth. They describe where the app crashed and don't contain your Health data.
The App Store privacy label for Hëlth says Data Not Collected.
Buying the app
Apple handles the purchase. I don't receive your name, Apple Account or payment details.
This website
helthtransfer.com has no cookies, analytics, trackers, or fonts and scripts loaded from other sites. It's hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for a short time to run and protect the service. I don't use them to identify anyone.
If you email support@helthtransfer.com, I'll have your email address and whatever you write, and I use them only to reply. Ask and I'll delete them. Please don't send Health data or files by email.
Children
Hëlth collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Since the app doesn't collect anything, I hold no data about you from it, so there's nothing to access, correct, move or delete. Your Health data is on your iPhones, and you control it in the Health app. For emails you've sent me, write to the address above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date. If the app ever started collecting data, the policy would say so before that update shipped.
